Why a plumbing specialist beats a generalist agency
Generalist agencies apply an e-commerce playbook to a trade where the buying journey is fifteen minutes long, the deciding factor is who answers the phone, and half the revenue sits in commercial contracts that never touch a search engine. We already know what a boiler install is worth against an emergency call-out, what a housing association procurement cycle looks like, and why a Gas Safe number on the page changes conversion rate. That knowledge is the difference between a campaign that spends and one that returns.
What we run
One team, the channels that matter for this trade, and no retainer for work that does not move booked jobs.
- Search and Google Business Profile for local and map pack visibility
- Google Ads for same-week emergency and installation demand
- Outbound and LinkedIn for commercial, FM and developer contracts
- Email to your existing customer base for services, plans and reactivation
- Pay-per-lead and pay-per-call where you want volume without a build phase
- 24/7 answering so the demand we create is not lost to voicemail
How reporting works
Call tracking on every number, form attribution on every page, and a monthly review that shows leads, qualified leads, booked jobs, revenue and cost per booked job for each channel. You see the losing channels as clearly as the winning ones, and the recommendation each month is scale, shift or stop — never 'give it more time' without a number behind it.
What we will tell you that other agencies will not
Some firms do not need an agency. If you are fully booked, if your close rate on existing enquiries is under twenty per cent, or if nobody answers the phone between jobs, marketing spend will not fix any of that and we will say so on the first call. Fixing the phone and the quoting process usually returns more than any campaign we could run.
Who we work with
We take on a limited number of firms so campaigns do not compete with each other. The fit tends to be:
- UK plumbing, heating or drainage firms with three or more engineers
- Capacity for meaningful extra volume — at least 15–20 additional jobs a month
- One decision-maker available for a monthly review of the numbers
- Willingness to run call tracking, without which none of the reporting is real
We do not work with two firms targeting the same buyer type in the same city, and we do not take on firms outside the UK.
Frequently asked questions
What does a plumbing marketing agency cost?
Managed campaigns start around £1,500 a month plus ad spend, scaling with the number of channels and the geography covered. Pay-per-lead is billed per qualified enquiry instead, from £45.
How long until marketing produces booked jobs?
Paid channels and pay-per-lead produce jobs within days. Search, outbound and email reach steady volume in six to twelve weeks and then cost far less per job than paid does.
Do you work with plumbing firms outside the UK?
No. The pricing, compliance and search data we rely on are UK-specific, so we stay in the UK market.
Will you work with my competitor?
Not in the same city for the same buyer type. Exclusivity is part of the agreement, otherwise we would be bidding against ourselves on your behalf.
What happens to the campaigns if I leave?
You keep them. The ad accounts, rankings, content and lists built during a managed engagement are yours, which is not true of most agencies in this trade.
